Gunung Palung National Park is a national park located in West Kalimantan, based on the Decree of the Minister of Forestry Number 448 / Menhut-VI / 1990 with an area of ​​​​± 90,000 ha. Then it was expanded to 108,043.90 hectares, in 2014. There is Mount Palung which has a height of 1,116 meters. This National Park is a habitat for approximately 2,500 orangutans. Proboscis monkeys are the mammals with the largest number, there are also rare fauna, namely Mini Deer, animals that only exist in this area
