Tangsi Beach located on the southeast corner of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, is a natural phenomenon known as Pink Beach. Apparently, there are only a handful (the exact number seems a little sporadic) of pink sand beaches in the world, a few of which are in Indonesia. Pink Beach is located on the southwest coast of Komodo Island. Pink Beach on Lombok gets its pink tint from a natural mix of crushed, dead coral and white sand.
